With the last few weeks of dreary weather in the UK… I have been trying to lift the spirits of my fabulous Imagettes and help focus on the positive!
Yes holiday season is nearly upon us and we have recently featured two great blog posts regarding what to wear on holidays, to include ‘Summer (Style) Lovin’ – Your Beach Holiday Essentials Sorted’ and ‘Hot (Style) Town – Summer in the City’
Well today I am going to exhibit for you some stunning swimsuits to suit you body shape… so visualise the heat of the sun upon your body, as your relax on your lounger, sipping daiquiri’s by the pool and looking ever sooo stylish!
Apple
Seafolly Indigo Maillot Swimsuit available from My Wardrobe
As an Apple body shape look for some support in your swimwear, this swimsuit will certainly tick the support box around the bust. The ruching of this swimsuit is perfect in disguising any lumps or bumps around the tummy area. The colour is fabulous in being slimming, neutral and versatile.
Hourglass
Bandeau Swimsuit available from Boden
Simply a great shaped swimsuit to show-case your Hourglass silhouette… nothing too complicated. The medium leg fit will also be flattering and there is good support around the bust area.
Inverted Triangle

Available from Matches
A halter-neck style suit will help create the illusion of slender shoulders. The centre zip detail can also create a V, which is another trick in decreasing shoulder expanse. Again a versatile, neutral and slimming colour.
Pear
Zebra print one shoulder swimsuit available from Ted Baker
This one shoulder suit will attract the attention towards the upper half of your body which is precisely your aim, in order to create the illusion of body shape balance. This is a wow swimsuit… the print and detail are fun.
Rectangle
Seafolly Black and White Sorrento Boyleg Maillot Swimsuit available from My Wardrobe
As a Rectangle body shape this swimsuit is aimed at achieving the illusion of more curves for your boyish silhouette… the white panels will totally achieve a more Hourglass frame for you to look fantastic.
Here at the Image Mistress HQ we hope you have a great holiday whatever your plans… and feel ever-so-stylish!

Stay Stylish,
I’ve always been a two-piece kind of girl until recently. When you get to a certain age, well, things change; no matter how many sit-ups and crunches you do. My problem is I have a long torso, so I think I would look for bathing suits for a rectangular torso. Either way, one piece or two, the daiquiris will be scrumptious!
Elisa
I must admit (rather reluctantly & a little ashamedly) that I’ve actually never had enough body confidence to consider trying out a two-piece. I do absolutely love looking at them when I’m browsing through the stores every Spring/Summer & always think – this is the year I’ll finally buy a bikini – because I really love so many bikinis I see & think they’d look amazing, but I’ve only ever worn a 1 piece (and it’s been a fair few years since I even dared to be seen in a 1-piece suit!)
But yes, the daiquiris (or margaritas in my case
) will be scrumptious! And yes – a long torso will be most flattered by suits for rectangle figures, as they will help to create a little more curve where you want it & break the torso up so it doesn’t look as long! Thanks for reading lovely Elisa
xoxo
